Thank you for your interest in trading at Boomtown 2022. The Boomtown ethos has a huge focus on sustainability so please bear this in mind when you submit your application. One of the most important things we look for in our traders is individuality and something that stands out! We want businesses with character that offer unique and fantastic quality drinks.

Trading hours from Wednesday-Sunday, all traders must arrive and set up by Tuesday so pitches can be signed off by our H&S team. Please note that Boomtown is a Cashless festival. This means you will be provided scanners to take payments and everything is paid or via the customers RFID festival wristbands. Successful traders will work closely with Playpass/Weeze Events and our Cashless project manager to ensure a smooth operation on the ground. By being a Cashless event we are able to lower the up front costs for traders to make the festival more accessible for a wider variety of food businesses.

Boomtown is a cashless festival meaning everyone uploads funds onto their wristbands so everything is paid for via contactless RFID wristbands. If your application is successful you will receive all information needed regarding cashless events and work closely with our Cashless manager. 

How many scanners will you need for your trading set up *
Typically 1 scanner per standard till set up. Your menu will be uploaded to these scanners in advance. You will get 1 scanner included in your pitch offer, additional scanners will be recharged. 
Do you need a Bluetooth printer to print order tickets
If you need to print food orders to give to the kitchen this mini Bluetooth printer will print order tickets sent to it from your scanner. Bluetooth printers will come at an additional cost. 


Are you happy to use all compostable serve wear from a pre-approved supplier? *
All serve wear MUST be PAPER BAGESSE and WOODEN cutleryBIO-PLASTIC/PLA IS NOT ALLOWED, this is because it contaminates the waste/recycling stream we have chosen to use. Single use sachets of condiments are also BANNED, please use re-fillable bottles.
